All About The Founder of The Cheer Craze: Prestyn Kloskey

I was born into the world of competitive cheerleading. My mom was a cheerleader in high school and continued her love for the sport through coaching. When I wasn’t practicing at the gym, I was watching the “big kids “, analyzing hours’ worth of routines on YouTube, and making up my own routines in my room. I was just three years old the first time I competed; I didn’t realize the impact that this moment would have on the rest of my life. I have traveled to over eight states to compete and win highly competitive regional championships. I have also competed at six times at the  Summit National Championships in Orlando, Florida. I now pass on my love and knowledge of the sport through coaching. The 2020/21 season is my fourth-season coaching. Coaching allows me to apply all of my passion and dedication from the past 16 years to teach young athletes that the work is worth it. Sixteen years later I look back and I am thankful for the sport that has shaped me not only physically but mentally as well.
